Here’s What The Royal Family Will Be Doing During The Month Of October
There’s this quote that goes, ‘I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers’. I mean, when talking about this month, things get exciting because it’s officially autumn, the air turns crisp, our schedules get packed, and well Halloween! However, with summer being long gone, many of us find it difficult to go back to the busy schedules, and the colder autumn days, although we’re fond of putting our days to good use and being productive.
When we think about the royals, we often think about all the attention and the privileges they have, but being a royal also requires one to carry royal duties. And that’s where we’re getting. Along with October, even the Royals are going to get busy and back in work mode. See below for what the royal family will be doing this October.
Kate Middleton will be returning to work
Following her six-month maternity leave, the Duchess of Cambridge will return to work. She is going to visit the Sayers Croft Forest School in Paddington where she’ll be meeting children who are taking part in green-fingered activities.
Prince Harry and Meghan will be visiting Sussex
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be visiting Sussex in October. They will visit Chichester, Bognor Regis, and Brighton, and the coastal town of Peacehaven.
Prince Harry and Meghan will be going on tour
They will carry one of their biggest royal milestones together a few days after Eugenie’s wedding – they will have their first long-haul tour. Among the places they will visit will be Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga, as well as Melbourne, Fraser Island, Wellington and more.
Dutch state visit
The Queen has invited King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima to stay at Buckingham Palace from 23 to 24 October and a state banquet is expected to be held in their honor.
Prince Charles’ birthday celebrations
On the 25th of October, 3 weeks before he turns 70, Prince Charles will attend a birthday concert organized by his wife Camilla. Then, on the 31st of October, the pair will go on tour to The Gambia, Ghana, and Nigeria.
Prince Louis will turn 6 months old
Prince William and Kate’s son, Prince Louis will reach a mini-milestone, meaning he will be 6 months old on the 23rd of October. Due to this, the couple may decide to release an official portrait of Louis, like they did when Princess Charlotte turned six months old.
